• SiQubit workshop has ended. A big thank you to all the participants and organizers who made the conference a great success! Photos from the conference can be found here.

  • Silicon Quantum Electronics Workshop 2015

The Silicon Quantum Electronics Workshop focuses on silicon-based approaches to realizing quantum electronics circuitry such as quantum computers.
The purpose of the workshop is to unite the leading researchers, students, and postdocs in the field to discuss advances in silicon quantum device fabrication, measurement, modeling, and theory.

    Topics of interest include:
  • Silicon-related qubit implementations (e.g., Si, SiGe, Ge)
  • Advances in materials and fabrication
  • Cryogenic classical (nano)-electronics and classical electronic interfaces with qubits
  • Computer assisted design and analysis of donor and quantum dot architectures
  • Theory and modeling of charge and spin decoherence mechanisms in silicon
  • Dynamic decoupling and other control techniques to suppress decoherence in Si related qubits
  • Approaches to multi-qubit and coherent on-chip communication
  • Hybrid-qubit approaches combining Si and/or SiGe with other qubit systems

  • This year's workshop will be held in Takamatsu, Japan. The workshop format will consist of approximately 20-30 minute talks, with a poster session held each day.
We encourage you to submit an abstract for a presentation or a poster, but submission is not a requirement to attend.
