Title: Functional Materials and Interfaces by Computational Design<\/p>\n

Dr. Walsh & Dr. Butler work in the area of computational materials science. They are young and energetic researchers who have solved physical problems, particularly for solar energy conversion using using atomistic computer simulations. In this lecture, they will present recent results on the energies of electrons in conductive metal oxides and how they can be controlled at materials interfaces. Their work on the kesterite class of thin-film photovoltaics will also be addressed.
